HAUTE FOOD, HAUTE FUN

Friday night I had the pleasure of dining at TEN,
followed by fun and frolic at
8eighty8 night club just steps away

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the food, service
and cool/chill atmosphere at TEN asian bistro.
General Manager Emil Tekmar runs a tight ship.

I haven't had a dining experience like this in a few years.
Chef Steven really knows what he is doing.
Orange County is so lucky that he decided to leave San Fransisco
and join us here in So Cal.
Each plate served was better then the last.
The Uni & Truffle was scrumptious, best tako in town, the calamari & pepper dish melts in your mouth
but my favorite must have is the
Seafood soup with lemongrass infusion. I could eat it everyday!
As a matter of face I think I just might go back tonight. I have a  seriously craving.

Besides the food and service the bar is awesome. The entire place is open and airy.
Did I mention I counted 18 tv screens. It's in no way a sports bar but they did have all the games on. Very cool!  I can actually take my husband out and he won't complain about missing the game.

After dinner we were escorted to the VIP lounge at 8eighty8.
Talk about service! Wow!
The girls were gorgeous and on top of things.
Never did you have to sit around wondering when your drink was coming.
Not that we sat around much.
The music was pumpin!(did I just say that?)

I can invite my LA friends to come to a club in my town finally...

Thanks Jim for a great night.
